23 Annual Survivors at the Summit Returns to Snowbird on July 27, 2019

Cancer patients, families and caregivers gather to honor those who fight cancer all while benefiting a great cause.

SANDY, UTAH, July 27, 2019 — This July, the 23 annual Survivors at the Summit returns to Snowbird. The annual event, which raises money for the Cancer Wellness House, hosts people from all over to honor loved ones fighting cancer, cancer survivors, as well as pay tribute to those who have lost their lives fighting the disease.

Cancer survivors and their families, as well as the general public, are invited to participate in the annual event. A registration fee of $35.00 for adults and $17.50 for children ages 7-12 will include a tribute flag, a pancake and bacon breakfast, a 3.5-mile hike/bike/run or chairlift journey to the Celebration of Life Ceremony at Hidden Peak. Teams can sign up for the event at a discounted price of $150 for five flags and 10 registrants or $300 for 10 flags and 20 registrants. Registration and donations will assist the Cancer Wellness House in providing hope, wellness, and support to those with cancer, cancer survivors and their families.

About the Cancer Wellness House - Nearly 40% of the population will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. Thus, most Utah families will be affected by a cancer diagnosis. This situation has created an urgent need for health and wellness interventions. Our mission is to deliver high quality, evidence-based health and wellness programs to cancer survivors, caregivers, and families in a homelike-setting.
